Services not yet started
If you cancel a service before we have started work on it, we refund the professional fee you paid for that service in full. Work has started once we have begun reviewing your documents, drafting, preparing a filing, or submitting an application.
Services already started
Fees for work that has started are not refundable.
Where an engagement is paid in advance for several stages or periods, for example monthly GST returns paid for a quarter, we refund the fees for any stage or period on which work has not yet started.
Government fees and third-party charges
Government fees, stamp duty, and charges paid to third parties, such as digital signature providers, cannot be refunded once they have been paid. If an authority itself refunds a fee, we pass it on to you when we receive it, in line with that authority's rules.
Duplicate or excess payments
If you pay an invoice twice or pay more than the amount due, we refund the extra amount in full, or adjust it against your next invoice if you prefer.
Outcomes decided by authorities
Refunds are not given because an authority rejects, delays, or raises objections to an application, or raises a tax demand, as these outcomes are not in our control. If a rejection is caused by our own error, we will redo the work without charging a further professional fee.
How to request a refund
Email info@fintaxport.com within 30 days of the payment, with:
